Born and raised in Düsseldorf, Germany, I began my career in photography as an apprentice and assistant to commercial photographers.

A vacation in 1988 brought me to New York and I fell in love with this city. Eventually it became my home and I started working with magazines, capturing interiors, portraits, travel destinations, etc. My work has been featured in publications such as Travel & Leisure, SpaFinder, House Beautiful, Metropolitan Home, Saveur, New York Magazine, Departures, HC&G, and many others. Later I also collaborated with luxury hotels and resorts, such as Starwood and Rosewood Hotels.

For the past decade, my primary focus has been architectural and interior photography, working with architects, designers, and developers to document their projects.

My recent clients include firms such as Snøhetta, DLR Group, ESKW, IAA, W-Architecture, and Little Island, among others.
